Production > Casting

We cast our sculptures using traditional lost wax or sand casting techniques. Before casting, we always carefully lay out and execute all preparations in our form workshop in accordance with the dimensions and formal qualities of the work that is to be cast.

By meticulously crafting our casting molds, we attain the character of a dynamic, finely structured surface. In sand casting, by contrast, we achieve perfectly stretched surfaces – one example is the large-scale sculpture “Big Butterfly” by Henry Moore.
